Run don't walk to this book signing!

If any of you are in the Glendale, California area, RUN don't walk to the Glendale Public Library where author Laurie Viera Rigler will be doing a reading and a book signing of Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict.

Here are the specs:

Date: Thursday, August 20th

Time: 7 PM
Place: Glendale Public Library Auditorium
Address: 222 East Harvard Street, Glendale 91205
Phone: (818) 548-2042
Parking: Click here.
Map: Click here.

Ever wonder if a gentleman's daughter from 1813 England could survive in the wired and crazy world of 21st-century Los Angeles?

A note from Laurie:

Come join me for a glass of iced tea at Glendale Public Library, and I'll tell you all about it. I'll be reading passages and signing copies of RUDE AWAKENINGS OF A JANE AUSTEN ADDICT, the time-bending parallel story to the 2007 bestseller Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict.

Until then, may the summer sun bring you much happiness, Laurie

Be sure to click on the book titles to read my review of Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict and Laurie's parallel book Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict.

I believe you'll find both books fun and intriguing reads! And to all you lucky folk who live in and around the Glendale Public Library make sure you make it to the book signing and reading.

Happy reading!

  1. How fun is that, Bonnie! I know you'll be there with bells on! Too far away for me...:-( These books are going to the beach with me. I have a shameless plug item for you to try...the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for pet hair...AMAZING!! No kidding! It says to throw it away when full, but I just loosened one of the little rollers at one end and emptied it! It's faster and easier than the vacuum on furniture! (lol Do you think they'll hire me as spokesperson?) Hope you are having a great week! I'm going to scroll down and get caught up. I've been gone way too much!...hugs...Debbie

  3. Hi Bonnie, thanks for coming by. I love visiting the professor too. She is a sweet, classy lady and her posts are such a treat.

I feel like a time traveler going through your blog! Loved the Haley Mills post. I remember watching that movie on the old Sunday night "Wonderful World of Disney". I never tire of Haley Mills movies!
