...isn't that a yoga pose? Anyway, breakthrough discovery…I have discovered….yoga pants!
Mine are black but pretty much look like this pair
I now
do everything in them except – oh, you are so right on – what they were designed
for, namely yoga! They are great to wear for shopping, sleeping, going to the movies,
getting a bite to eat or just plain relaxing. My yoga pants are awesome, they
are sooooo comfortable! AND, they were a bargain at $4 from Goodwill. Just thought you’d like to know!
Speaking of clothing (I realize yoga pants are hardly what you would call fashion), a recent USA Today article caught my eye, it was about fashion trucks on wheels. To read the story, just go here!
Just a few photos from the archival vault of Diamonds & Daisies!

This one is called Wanderlust in Portland, Oregon
We’re all familiar with food trucks but how about fashion trucks for curbside fashionistas? They exist and what a great concept!
This is the Styleliner based in the Hamptons and New York City
There is even a San Diego track called Therapie which I will have to search out but you can visit with them right here.
This is Therapie right here in San Diego!
To totally switch gears, have you ever heard of Mexican Train? Well, it’s a domino
game that apparently has been around awhile but is currently gaining some kind of resurgence.
I had never heard of it and never played dominoes but they sell it everywhere
including Target where my neighbor got his. So, I was invited to game night at
Phil and Rod’s place (our hosts) and they invited a few of us neighbors on board J.
The guys provided dinner and drinks and we each brought a little something to round out the meal.
This was our second game night and I highly recommend it!
I have no idea why it's called Mexican Train, do you?

The dinner theme was comfort food and there is no more comfort than Sloppy Joes!
I brought the dessert, an angel food cake with fresh berries and whipped topping. It was yummy.
Yes, it was heavenly!
This was our second game night and I highly recommend it!
Hi Bonnie! Your yoga pants look comfortable! I will have to see if I can find some. I am not familiar with fashion trucks or Mexican train...which I will check out for my grandson! I am obviously out of the loop with anything other than children's programming, as evidenced by the fact that I can sing several of the songs on Lazy Town by heart! :-) Your cake looks yummy! Hope all is well with you!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteI love yoga pants! Mine have just about fallen apart so it's a great excuse for nipping back to India to stock up!
ReplyDeleteThose Pop-Up shops are all the rage in our cities right now, a great idea to stop our derelict high streets looking so neglected! xxx
Hi Bonnie, how have you been? So good to see you posting..
ReplyDeleteThe pants do look very comfortable.. I was not even aware of the pop-up shops, great concept, don't you think?
Have a beautiful week my friend
Blessings,
Penny
Thank you for visiting Bonnie, I am happy you enjoyed my needle felted birds... Your little parakeet was so funny! When I was a child, my father had a little parakeet that used to ride on the train that went around our Christmas tree..
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Penny
BONNIE MY DEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAIT....I need a pair of those pants! They look perfect for around the house and going out as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my friend, just last night Ruben mentioned that our next trip out to CA would be to San Diego to go to the zoo; he also said, "We need to meet up with Bonnie and Penny!" I SAY YES!!!!
I am so very sorry to hear that your beloved Sadie has left your side....much love to you my dear. Anita
Hey Bonnie.... I know I just got done talkin to you just a bit ago. You know, I did a little more snooping on Haydens FB page and did you know that the little girl that you see in some of the other pictures is Haydens new sister?! She was adopted from birth as well. What lucky guys!
ReplyDeleteAny whoozer, I've never heard of fashion trucks what a great idea. The game... kinda reminds me of hungry hungry hippos. I'm sure it's totally different. I'm gonna have to find it and buy it for our game nights. I can't wait.
Chuck and I can't wait for the weekend and we're gonna sneak a peak at the house yay!
Talkatcha later B
