Goodnight Sweet Prince - Winner Revealed

What a night mes amis!

It was the big reveal of Act IV of Goodnight Sweet Prince by our dear friend Anita of Castles Crowns and Cottages.

I was caught up in an evening of bright lights, red carpets and celebrities, oh yes they were all there. Even Monsieur Balzac putt putted his way over to Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères.

In the theatre, lights dimmed with anticipation as we were about to see Camille Benoit's play, Goodnight Sweet Prince in its entirety. When the delightful play came to its conclusion there was much buzz amongst the spectators especially myself, Jacqueline and The Dutchess. You see, we three entered Camille Benoit's contest to complete Act IV of her wonderful play. Tensions were high as Camille, aka Anita, took to the stage to announce the winner. And the winner is....OH MY GOSH...it was me! My world started spinning.

Here, I am back in my seat with my Castles Crowns and Cottage's Playwright Award. What in the world did I say as I accepted my award? I am blank, I cannot remember a thing! All I can tell you is I am awash in the fun, honor and excitement of winning the award.

And the parties afterward! Canoodling with celebrities like Johnny Depp, Brad and Angelina and this bit of yum, Daniel Craig! I flirted shamelessly and was in glamour heaven. But the long night turned to day and I was off to the Castles Crowns and Cottages chateau where I promptly fell asleep under the stars by the pool.

When I awoke, I made a quick dash to my room to refresh and went back to the pool where refreshments were layed out for all to enjoy.

For some reason, I was ravenous! The lovely Anita and a few friends were already enjoying the repast and we were told not to take too long because we were shortly to cruise on Anita's lovely vintage yacht. It is called the Tres Jolie - very pretty, yes?

More food, more libations, sparkling conversation, a little sun, it was a lovely afternoon my dear ones.

I cannot remember a more marvelous weekend! I am still spinning from the honor of winning the Castles Crowns and Cottages Playwright Award. I encourage all of you to enter next season! Our lovely Anita is always brimming with creativity. Thank you Anita for a wonderful time.

All this because of one special little dog!

Goodnight Sweet Prince!

Act II of Goodnight Sweet Prince

Hurry everyone!

Act II of Goodnight Sweet Prince will be starting in five minutes! You have just enough time for a few sweet treats and a glass of champagne in the lobby!

Here we are at Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères and strangely it looks like the Odeon Theatre n'est-ce pas?

I am here supporting my dear friend, the playwright, Anita as we begin Act II of her virtual play Goodnight Sweet Prince. For a quick rewind, enjoy my review of Act I here or at Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères here.

Don't forget to enter Anita's contest to complete Act IV of Goodnight Sweet Prince at

Here is a sneak peak of Monsieur Balzac in costume...

I decided to have a little fun with costume changes myself and very quickly slipped into a divinely arresting Vivienne Westwood as seen here worn by Kim Cattrall.

Sexy Christian Louboutin at my feet

I found a lovely Rachel Zoe Celopatra clutch to carry an evening's essentials: lipstick, theatre tickets a few euros!

Darlings, in the tradition of sparkling libations like Buck's Fizz and Bellini may I present
Pomegranate Champagne Punch

Ingredients
4 cups crushed ice
2 cups pomegranate juice
1/2 cup ginger ale
1/4 cup brandy
1 (750-milliliter) bottle Champagne or sparkling wine
Pomegranate seeds (optional)

Preparation: Combine the first 5 ingredients in a pitcher. Pour about 1 cup of the Champagne mixture into each of 8 glasses. Garnish with seeds, if desired.

Mmmmmmm, positively delish!

Vive la France!

Goodnight Sweet Prince - A Night at the Theatre!

Bonsoir my lovelies!

I enjoyed a fabulous virtual evening tonight at the premiere of my dear friend Anita's latest play Goodnight Sweet Prince at Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères. No need to Mapquest the address as it is located at Castles Crowns & Cottages. The play is about a famous Parisian couturier and his unusual assistant Monsieur Balzak.

Scruffy little shop assistant, M. Balzak - be sure to thank him on the way out or you may be missing a shoe!

The lovely Anita is a very talented playwright and Act I of her lively and lighthearted play made its debut tonight amidst champagne toasts and a chorus of Bravo!

Anita accepting last season's accolades of La Diva!

I decided to dress to the nines in Chanel. Here is the vintage Coco Chanel I wore as seen on the lovely Audrey Hepburn. I also wore several layers of pearls which were de rigueur with Mme. Chanel

The lovely Audrey Hepburn

I wore these beautiful Chanel shoes but confess to wearing them around the house first to practice as they are rather high!

And would any day or evening be complete without a splash of No. 5!

As with La Diva, Goodnight Sweet Prince is an interactive play which means you get to complete the last act of the play. Just follow along for the next few Saturdays as each act is unveiled and you can enter the contest to complete the story! Sound like fun? Visit with Anita at Le Petit Théâtre de Chimères and in the meantime....

Cheers to Anita and a fabulous opening night!

À votre santé!
