My niece Jamie and I spent a fun Sunday morning (yes, I know I'm a little late in posting) at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. It was an awesome way to spend the morning. Take a look...

Oh, yummy...the omelette station!
The closest I will probably get to a gospel service. The music and voices raised the roof!
There is a rolicking finale where you are invited onstage.

And lest I forget it is the holiday season which means the continuation of Nigella Lawson's Christmas Kitchen. You can't help but feel festive with Part 2!
Have a holly, jolly Christmas!
Bonnie dearest! What a great time you must of had! I love gospel music....I went to a multi-cultural church once with a black gospel choir, and honey, I was literally dancin' in the aisles, walkin' on water!!!!! WHOAH! It looks like you two ladies had a blast! And downtown SD looks just like I left it, 30 years ago! How are you dearest? Those omelette fixins' look marvelous! Stay cozy, we have a ton of snow that feel last night!!! Happy Christmas, Anita
ReplyDeleteOh this looks like such fun! I've always wanted to go to this, but we never seem to be near a HOB on Sunday morning. They do have something similar in Austin at Stubbs BBQ, so we are going to try and check that out. Have a wonderful day! Kathy
ReplyDeleteI keep trying to get to the one here in Dallas, but alas and alack...time is not my friend. Obviously I am missing out on something wonderful!
